The archaeological site
of Serbissi displays the typical layout of tholos
buildings. It has a magnificent view over the
Gennargentu mountains and Perda Liana. It features a
main tower and three smaller ones. The visit of the
still intact lower chamber in the main tower will show
visitors the perfection of the tholos. The whole
complex, which also includes eight nuraghic huts, was
built on a natural cave with two entrances. The ride
will continue with a visit to both Orruttu and Sanu
Nuragh, two examples of single tower nuraghic buildings.
