Maria Lai was
inspired by her homeland for the creation of a totally
new world rich in images and shapes which gained her
international recognition enhancing her tenure in the
land she will always belong to. The museum, run by
Stazione dell’Arte Foundation, displays exhibitions of
different forms of art: sculpture, painting and poetry;
Maria Lai’s dreams now have a home. An artist’s dream
which comes true, a meeting point for works and artists
in the building of the old railway station. The Stazione
dell’Arte is not going to be just the place for the
displays of Maria Lai’s works; it aims at becoming the
place of artistic education and growth for the young. |
